Tilos is an island of the Dodecanese with an area of 61,487 square kilometers, and its population, according to the 2011 census, is 780 inhabitants. Generally, its terrain is mountainous and rocky with a small plain in its center ending at the beach of Eristos. The highest peak of the island is that of Prophet Elias at an altitude of about 620 meters.
There are four settlements on the island: Megalo Chorio with 241 inhabitants, Livadia with 484, Agios Antonios with 39 and Eristos with 16.
