The "hidden treasure" of the Aegean
Halki is a Dodecanese island located 5 miles west of Rhodes. The capital of the island is Emporios, which is also its port.
In the bay of Emporio, is built the homonymous and unique settlement of the island, "Niborio". The picturesque settlement consists of two-storey and three-storey buildings of neoclassical architecture, which reveal the grandeur of allotment times. A stroll through the paved alleys of mansions, colorful walls and tiled roofs excites every visitor.
