Glyfada beach is about 38 km away from the center of Rhodes and is one of the less known beaches of the island's northwest side. It has large pebbles and is usually covered with seaweed, which the strong winds bring to the seaside. The many pine trees in the area give a special green color to the waters, turning the area into a tropical landscape.
