Pontikokastro

Pontikokastro is located in Ano Symi, in the location of Myloi on the island. The age of this strange circular stone building has not been determined. It is probably a tomb or burial monument, which the locals call the "tomb of Nireus". Access to this area is possible either by car or by walking up the five hundred steps from Gialos to Symi Village (Chorio).
