Saint Nicholas

The church of Saint Nicholas is a short distance from the port of Chalki and is the main temple of the island. Saint Nicholas is the protector of the island of Chalki. It is worth visiting the church and admiring the magnificent bell tower, the wood-carved iconostasis and its elaborately paved courtyard with traditional pebbles of the sea.
