Diocese of Sts. Constantine and Helen

The Temple of Saints Constantine and Helen was founded around 1835 and is interwoven with the social and cultural life of Kastelorizo. Worth admiration is the Gothic elements in its architecture. The temple is built on a three-aisled vaulted basilica with a rich icon, a marble temple and a towering marble bell tower. The roof is based on twelve granite columns that were transported from the temple of Apollo to Patara, Lycia.
