Therma or Empros Thermae is located in the southeastern part of the island about 13km from the town of Kos.
The landscape has wild beauty: steep slopes, rocks and dark pebbles, resulting in tectonic disturbances and volcanic eruptions millions of years ago.
The area has been named after the hot springs that spur centuries now. These are thermal springs whose water is rich in Calcium, Potassium, Sodium, Sulfur and Magnesium, which are considered to be suitable for the healing of skin, arthritic, and rheumatic diseases, as well as for skin aesthetics. Water temperature ranges from 30-50 degrees.
Experience invaluable, a natural spa! At the front of the beach a small lake has been created that separates from the rest of the beach with rocks that allow seawater to enter and cool the hot water. This beach is suitable for all ages and for all seasons.
