The Archaeological Museum of Kalymnos is a small jewel of the island, modern, cared and rich in archaeological finds. It stands proudly as possessing the bronze statue of Kalymnos' daughter, which is one of the three rarest statues in the world because of its bronze. The bronze statue was accidentally lifted from the Aegean Sea in 1995 with the nets of two Kalymnian fishermen.
It is a very well-structured and organized museum with exquisite, imposing and quality exhibits, detailing the history of the island. Its halls are also adorned with marble sculptures which are carefully and well made.
