The picturesque monastery of Saint Panteleimonas is located on the slope of the northeast side of the Panormos valley. It attracts thousands of locals and foreigners visiting. Particularly in his Grace, almost all locals are present, as he is considered the second patron of the island after Saint Nicholas.
The chapel is half built in a natural cave and there is a fountain dripping an infinite amount of holy water from a stone above the right lectern. This is the indispensable pilgrimage of those who come to Kalymnion for vacation from their places of migration. It is said that this holy water is miraculous and heals wounds.
